The site gives you current information to weigh it against: what sports quota actually offers, which schemes pay for what and how a life with sport in it can lead to more than one good outcome, not just the top one. When you are ready to talk it through at home, the family conversation guide gives you a way to decide together.

If your child is in Classes 6 to 9

These are the years that make everything later easier. The big decision is often the school: dedicated sports schools, schools with real facilities, or NIOS when a school cannot fit the training. Start early, stay relaxed explains why study habits built now pay off at the boards.

If you are in Classes 10 to 12

Training and board exams pull hardest in these years. The weekly template and the daily schedule show how to fit both. This is also when college choices are made: sports quota at Delhi University and central universities, and the foreign university pathway if you want to study and play abroad. If your parents are not convinced yet, this is how to talk to them.

What this site is not

It is not a coaching academy and it does not rank academies or coaches. Nor is it the official source for any scheme. It is the guide to that source: amounts, dates and rules change, so every figure links to where you can check it.

Not sure where to begin? The Guide asks four questions and points you to what matters now. Why this site exists is in Why we built A Wise Athlete.
