Glide and stop
Ready when: Gear, stand up and fall (b1) done.
What you are learning
Short V steps into a glide, with knees bent and eyes ahead, and the heel stop: the brake skate slides forward with the toes up and the heel brake presses down. Stopping on purpose is what keeps a skater safe.
