Show it · 1 minute
  1. Set the practice mode on a real map or with the real rules.
  2. Play one round and name one thing that would change the situation: the map, the role, the starting position.
  3. Change it and play again; say what was different.

Show it once from the front and once from the side, slowly. Then let your child try.

The rules

A different challenge each round; the child says what changed and what worked.

  1. Before each round, you name one change: a new map, a new role, a new start
  2. The child plays the round
  3. After it, the child says one thing they noticed and one thing that worked
  4. 5 rounds

Fair play: When the child scores 12 or more, change two things each round.

Points
1 point for naming what was different; 1 point for one thing that worked; 1 point for using it the next round.
Fouls
No points that round: repeating the same move every round; not looking at the map
Win
Beat your best from 5 rounds.
