Show it · 1 minute
  1. Stand beside the board, jump, and land with both feet over the bolts at the same moment.
  2. Try it from in front, from behind and from the side.
  3. Stand on the board, jump, turn your shoulders and body half a turn, and land facing the other way.

Show it once from the front and once from the side, slowly. Then let your child try.

  2. Then from in front, behind and the side.

Call the turn

The rules

You call "left" or "right"; the child does a body varial that way.

  1. The child stands on the board
  2. Call "left" or "right"
  3. The child jumps, turns that way and lands on the board
  4. 10 calls

Fair play: A grown-up does a full turn.

Points
1 point for each varial landed on the board; 1 more point if both feet landed together.
Fouls
No points for that call: turning the wrong way; one foot landing first; landing off the board
Win
Beat your best from 10 calls.
