  2. Bring the feet together and push with the other skate.
  3. Skate round the loop in the agreed direction, looking ahead.
  4. Weave slowly through wide cones.

Follow the leader

The rules

The leader skates a path round the loop and through the cones; the others copy it.

  1. The leader skates one lap with a slalom somewhere in it
  2. The followers copy the path exactly, a safe gap behind
  3. Swap leaders after each lap

Fair play: A grown-up leads at walking pace.

Points
A follower scores 1 point for each lap copied without stopping or falling; the leader scores 1 point for each follower who misses a cone.
Fouls
No points for that lap: skating the wrong way round; cutting in front of another skater; grabbing another skater
Win
The most points after everyone has led.
