The rules
Each child touches or kicks the outstretched arm at the far side and races back (no holds).
- You stand past the baulk line with one arm out
- Call "hand", "toe" or "kick"
- The raider makes that touch on your arm and races back over the midline
- 10 calls each
Fair play: A grown-up raider touches with the weaker side.
- Points
- 1 point for the right touch; 1 point for a low, fast return over the midline.
- Fouls
- No points: a bent-knee kick; standing up tall after the touch; turning the back on the midline instead of facing it
- Win
- More points after 10 calls each.
- 8
- 14
- 18
5 hand touches and 5 toe touches with a low return to the midline each time.
End on one that works. If it was hard today, finish with the easier version.
